Alondra & Kareem | 8.31.2018

Alondra and I met thanks to The Navigators ministry. She was home from college for the summer and attended the coed Bible study my roommate and I were hosting weekly in our home. She booked me over a year in advance and I enjoyed the planning process and watching her style come together. It was very elegant and feminine and the big day couldn't have been more fun! I only understand a little bit of Spanish so I was a little nervous about making sure everything went smoothly and making sure I caught every cue.

I designed the bridal party flowers, the reception flowers, and coordinated the reception. There were tiny troubles like not having enough big lighters for the candles and having to use little handheld lighters from a pair of smokers; thinking the cake had been delivered elsewhere because the buffet crew didn't see it and had hidden it behind their gear and holding a few phone calls to coordinate; chasing the mariachi band as they were leaving to bring them back for a picture with the bride and groom; redoing the cake display; the linen company hadn't brought enough linens and made it back with the rest only minutes before everyone arrived, etc. It was not a boring evening! I loved it!

Alondra and Kareem are so precious and I loved meeting their families! My favorite moment was just before their bubble exit as I hung back and caught a quick moment with them. My friends I'm SO happy for you and pray God blesses your marriage above and beyond everything you could ask!
