Sally & Solo | My Favorite Wedding
All of my weddings are special to me. All of them! But this was my favorite wedding so far...because it was my baby sister's. I have three little sisters, 2 are married now. The first was married in South Korea and her wedding was pretty much turnkey - my family and I showed up, jet-lagged, and, other than being a part of the family greeting party for all of the guests before the ceremony (we bowed and said thank you to about 300 people as they entered the venue), we had no responsibilities.
Sally's wedding was our first experience as a family of putting on and celebrating a wedding and Sally and Solo made it easy to do just that! They had a very thoughtful DIY wedding. I had so much fun redoing the flower crown on our Mom's wedding veil and putting Sally's silk floral arrangements together. I was grateful they were silk so that I could get everything done over a week in advance and focus on helping stuff favors and make paper lanterns.
I could say so much more about it but I wanted to share their photographer's post because she has all of the pretty pictures: https://www.victoriaaliu.com/blog/sallysolomonwedding
